Business Customer Policy & Client Safety Guidelines

1. Our Commitment to Clients

Lens of Valor Studios is a veteran-owned business committed to professionalism, inclusivity, creativity, and client empowerment. We believe every session is a collaboration and are dedicated to creating a safe, welcoming environment for all.

2. Booking & Cancellations

  • Deposit Requirement: A non-refundable retainer is required at booking to reserve your session date and time.

  • Cancellations: Clients may reschedule once without penalty if done at least 72 hours in advance. Cancellations within 48 hours of the shoot will forfeit the retainer.

  • Late Arrivals: Please arrive on time. Sessions will end as scheduled regardless of late arrival.

3. Payment Policy

  • Full balance is due 1 week prior to the session unless a payment plan is arranged.

  • We accept cash, credit/debit, PayPal, and approved buy-now-pay-later services.

  • Add-ons and upgrades must be paid in full before delivery of the final products.

4. Client Conduct & Safety

  • Respectful Behavior: Clients are expected to treat our team and property with respect. Harassment, inappropriate conduct, or aggressive behavior will result in immediate termination of the session without refund.

  • Privacy & Consent: No unauthorized persons (including significant others, friends, etc.) may attend boudoir or therapeutic sessions unless pre-approved. Clients must consent to poses and may stop the session at any time if uncomfortable.

  • Touch-Free Posing: Our team does not physically pose clients. All directions will be given verbally or demonstrated unless express permission is given.

  • Therapeutic Sessions: For mental health and trauma-informed sessions, the environment will remain calm, supportive, and private. Breaks are allowed as needed.

5. Location & Environmental Safety

  • Outdoor Shoots: Clients will be briefed on terrain, weather conditions, and expected clothing. Sessions at waterfalls or woodland areas require signed liability waivers.

  • Weather Policy: For outdoor shoots, we offer free reschedules in the event of unsafe weather conditions. No refunds will be issued due to weather unless canceled by Lens of Valor.

  • Client Equipment Safety: Clients are responsible for their own personal belongings during on-location or outdoor shoots.

6. Image Rights & Delivery

  • Delivery Timeline: Standard delivery is 2–3 weeks for most sessions. Rush options are available for a fee.

  • Model Releases: A signed model release is required for any images used in marketing. Clients have the right to decline public sharing of images.

  • Gallery Access: Images will be delivered through a secure, password-protected gallery. Clients are responsible for downloading their files within the active window.

7. COVID-19 & Illness Precautions

  • We sanitize all props, furniture, and high-touch areas before and after sessions.

  • If a client or team member is ill, the session will be rescheduled at no charge for safety.

  • Masking is optional unless otherwise stated.

8. Emergency & Accessibility Accommodations

  • Clients needing special assistance (mobility, mental health needs, etc.) should notify us during booking to ensure accommodations are available.

  • Emergency protocols are in place for outdoor and therapeutic sessions, and staff are ASIST-certified for crisis support if needed.

9. Client Empowerment & Experience

  • Every session is built around comfort, expression, and respect.

  • For boudoir and empowerment sessions, clients may preview images mid-session via camera screen to ensure satisfaction and build confidence.

  • No image will be shared or printed without full client approval.
